Louis W. Macik, age 77, of Rt. 1 Penelope, passed away October 25, 1986 at West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. October 26 at Aderhold funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. William Spong. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. October 27 at the Church of the Nativity in Penelope with the Rev. William Spong as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mr. Macik was born January 23, 1909 in Tours to Joseph and Marie Macik. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Air Force. He was a farmer and a member of KJT Lodge No. 50 in Penelope and VFW No. 4819 in West. He was a member of the Church of the Nativity in Penelope. He is survived by two brothers, Albin Macik of West and Henry J. Macik of Penelope; two sisters, Lillian Dobecka of Dallas and Angeline Sykora of West; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Arnold Dobecka, Ernest Sykora, Edward J. Macik, Henry Macik, Jr., James E. Macik and Lloyd Spencer. Honorary pallbearers were all nephews.
