Miss Macik Of Penelope Dies; Rites Held Thurs. Miss Frances Macik, 58, a resident of Penelope died at 4:55 a.m. Wednesday in a Waco hospital. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Catholic Church of Nativity in Penelope with Rev. Bohumil Hruby as celebrant and burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kotch Funeral Home in West. Miss Macik was born in Tours, but lived most of her life in the Penelope area. She was a member of the Catholic Church of Nativity at Penelope, the Altar Society and KJZT Lodge No. 35. Surviving are five brothers, Louis and Henry Macik of Penelope, Frank Macik of Seymour, Stanley Macik of Hutchins and Albin Macik of West; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Sykora of West, Mrs. Frank Dobecka of Grapevine. She is also survived by 31 nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Eddie Joe Macik of Houston, Arnold Dobecka and Marvin Dobecka of Grapevine, James Macik of Seymour and Ernest and Tommy Sykora of West.
