Bio
Mrs. Frances Lenart Cervenka, 82, of West died Monday afternoon in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rev. William Benish as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Cervenka was born Oct. 10, 1894, to Frank and Marie Soukup in McLennan County. She had lived in the West area all of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar-Rosary Society, KJZT Society No. 11 and the Catholic Daughters of America, Court 829. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Tillie) Dvoracek of West; two sons, Bernard Lenart of Temple and Ray Cervenka of Austin; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Raymond (Lillian) Nemecek of West; two stepsons, Bob Cervenka of Waco and Edward Cervenka of Dallas; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were: Dr. Hatton Sumner, Tim Nemecek, Bernard Lenart, Jr., Charles Ramm, Bobby Cervenka, Nick Cervenka, Mark Cervenka, Gregory Cervenka and Robert Metcalf.
