Bio
Frances Lillian Lehr, 95, entered into rest Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was born on September 19, 1922, to Johann and Johanna Divin in West, Texas. Frances met and married the love of her life, Adam Fred Lehr, and they had five children. Following his death in 1963, she went to work as a cook for the school system. She worked for Arlington ISD for over 25 years. She also worked for a daycare center and the local hospital. She always loved the kids, baking cookies for them, and the enduring friendships shared with her co-workers. Later in life she enjoyed Bingo, watching Wheel of Fortune, NASCAR, Notre Dame Football and the Dallas Cowboys. She was preceded in death by her husband, and son Francis Lehr. She is survived by her daughter Ceil York (Bill); sons Bob Lehr (Janice), Philip "Buster" Lehr, Bill Lehr (Karen); grandchildren Jim Berna, Todd Berna, Adam Lehr, Shannon Kennedy, Dallas Lehr, Travis Lehr; great-grandchildren Taylor Berna, Kasey Berna, Katrina Mae Berna, Bridget Berna, Kenny Berna, Cameron Lehr, Raymond Kennedy, Caroline Cavender, Morgan Kennedy, Carson Lehr, Noah Lehr; and great-great-grandchildren Jaxson Berna and Chandler Berna. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. with a Rosary at 5 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N Davis Dr., Arlington, TX, 76012. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 8, 2018, at 1:00, with Father Darrell Kostiha officiating, at St. Mary's Ascension Catholic Church at 303 S Harrison St, West, TX 76691.
