J.C. Krenek, 68, Dies In Lubbock J.C. Krenek, 68, of Lubbock, formerly of West, died at 7:35 a.m. Saturday in a Lubbock hospital. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Little Church of the Flowers, at Lubbock. Funeral services were held at noon Tuesday in the Church of the Assumption at West. Rev. Jerry Smith officiated with burial in West. The body was sent to West Tuesday morning. Mr. Krenek was born in Texas. He moved to Lubbock in 1943 from Waco. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Lodge in Lubbock. He was retired. Surviving are his wife, Annie; one brother, Raymond Krenek of Hillsboro; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Knezek and Mrs. Sophie Kuhala, both of Seymour, Mrs. Albina Matus, Mrs. Emilie Matus, and Mrs. Jannie Mashek, all of West.
