The Hillsboro Reporter RAYMOND KRENEK Mr. Raymond A. Krenek, 93, of Abbott died Thursday, February 27, at a West nursing home. He was born February 7, 1910 in Seymour and had lived in Hill County most of his life. He farmed from 1946 until 1961 and then was employed by Heitmiller Oil Company of West until 1981. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #11230 and KJT Society #107. He married Angeline Maresh October 18, 1937 in Penelope, and she preceded him in death May 9, 2000. Survivors include: one son, Johnny R. Krenek of Laguna Park; three daughters, Janice Boyse of Abbott, Mrs. Rita McMorrough and husband, Kenneth, of West and Paulette Christian of Hillsboro; one sister, Janie Mashek of West; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Rosary was recited at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart with Rev. Bob Strittmatter as celebrant. Burial was at Fatima Cemetery near Abbott. Memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church of Abbott.
