Funeral Services For Pete Kocian To Be Held Friday Mr. Pete Kocian, 72, of 307 Walnut died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, in a Waco nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption, Rev. James Quilter officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Kocian was born in West and lived here all of his life. He was a retired farmer, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and KJT member. Survivors are one son, William Kocian of Waco; four daughters, Mrs. Albina Pavelka of Abbott, Mrs. Sophie Bazant, Mrs. Martha Landers and Mrs. Lillie Laubert, all of West; seven brothers, Jim Kocian, August Kocian and Charlie Kocian, all of West, Joe Kocian of Penelope, John Kocian of Morton, Frank Kocian of Waco and Steve Kocian of Marlin; four sisters, Mrs. Sophie Abraham of Bremond, Mrs. Agnes Lenart of West, Miss Mary A. Kocian and Mrs. Annie Sembera of Los Angeles, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Kotch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
