Mrs. Kocian's Last Rites Held Wednesday Mrs. Millie Kocian, 66, died at 2:40 a.m. Monday at her home in West. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Assumption in West, Msgr. I.J. Valenta officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold-Moore Chapel. Mrs. Kocian was born in Czechoslovakia. She had lived in and near West for about 50 years. She was a member of the KJZT Lodge and the Catholic Church. Survivors are her husband, Pete Kocian; a son, Willie A. Kocian of Waco; four daughters, Mrs. Albina Pavelka of Belton, Mrs. Sophie Bazant and Mrs. Martha Lander, both of West and Mrs. Lillie Laubert of Waco; three brothers, Frank Nors and Henry Nors, both of West, and Joe Nors of Abbott; a sister, Mrs. Annie Kocian of West.
