Albina Pavelka, 83, passed away Wednesday Afternoon April 11, 2001, at West Rest Haven. Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:15 a.m. at St. Martin's with the Rev. Isidore Rozyncki as celebrant. Burial will follow at Fatima Cemetery near Abbott. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home (Aderhold in West). Mrs. Pavelka was born July 28, 1917 in West, the daughter of Pete and Millie Kocian. She married John Frank Pavelka on Sept. 5, 1938 in West. She was a housewife, homemaker and part owner of Pavelka Garage in Abbott from 1947 until 1973. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott and of SPJST Lodge No. 6. She enjoyed dancing, flowers, sewing and baking kolaches. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 4, 1973 and a brother, Bill Kocian who died on August 4, 2000. She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Gonce and husband Wilburn of Waco; six sons, Rudolph Pavelka & wife Nolene of Hillsboro, Johnny Pavelka & wife Reta of Abbott, Raymond Pavelka & wife Betty Lou of Ross, Billy Pavelka & wife Doris, David Pavelka & wife Jeannette, and Frankie Pavelka & wife Mary, all of West; three sisters, Sophie Bazant, Martha Lander & Lillie Laubert, all of West;16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
