Requiem Mass Held Tues. For Charlie Kaska, Sr. Charlie Kaska, Sr., 75, of West died at 11:25 p.m. Sunday, December 20 in a Hillsboro hospital. Requiem mass was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. He was a retired farmer and had lived in the West area for the past 70 years. He was born at Praha. Mr. Kaska was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and of KJT Society No. 31. His wife died Dec. 27, 1969, in a two-car collision near West. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Caroline) Sulak of Osceola and Mrs. Bernard (Agnes) Jones of Garland; six sons, Charlie Kaska, Jr. of West, John Kaska of Route 4, Hillsboro, Robert Kaska of Lott, Edward Kaska of Arlington, Louis Kaska of Fort Worth and William Kaska of Garland; one brother, Joe Kaska of West; and 22 grandchildren.
