Requiem Mass To Be Friday For Miss Emma Kallus Miss Emma Kallus, 71, of 206 1/2 Washington, died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 in a Hillsboro hospital. Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12 in St. Mary's Church of the Assumption with Rev. B.J. Zientek as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11 in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Miss Kallus was born in Fayette County, Texas and lived in the West area for some 65 years. She was a member of the St. Mary's Church of the Assumption and a member of KJZT Society No. 11. Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Louis (Julie) Hykel, Mrs. Hattie Mikuda, both of Abbott, Miss Anna Kallus of Hillsboro, Mrs. Bertha Dudik of Penelope, and Miss Millie Kallus of Rusk; two brothers, Charlie Kallus of Penelope and Anton Kallus of Axtell and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be L.A. Hykel, Clement Dudik, Emil Dudik, Gilbert Kallus, Emil Nors, and Anton Pustejovsky.
