Rites Held For Anna Kallus Miss Anna Kallus, 85, of Hillsboro, formerly of West, died Monday morning, March 26, 1979 in a Hillsboro hospital. Mass of Christian burial was at 4 p.m. Tuesday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, the Rev. Gene Shepard as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited Monday night at Kotch Funeral Home. Miss Kallus was born in Fayette County, and came to the West area with her parents in 1904. She lived in the West Area until 1950. She had lived in Hillsboro about 25 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West. Survivors include a brother, Charlie Kallus of Penelope; three sisters, Mrs. Louis (Julia) Hykel and Mrs. Hattie Mikuda, both of West, and Mrs. Bertha Dudik of Penelope. Pallearers were Freddie Gerik, Alfons Pribyla, Ernest Bezdek, Harry Lichnovsky, V.J. Pratka, and Martin Cvikel.
