Mrs. Hutyra's Rites Held Saturday Requiem mass for Mrs. Emil C. (Frances) Hutyra Sr. of West was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption at 11 a.m. Saturday. Rev. George Doskocil officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Kotch Chapel. Mrs. Hutyra, 74, died Thursday in a West hospital. Mrs. Hutyra was born at Waller and had lived in the West area 60 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, the Altar-Rosary Society and KJZT Society No. 11. She married Emil Hutyra July 26, 1920, at West. Survivors are her husband; four sons, Henry Hutyra of Ross, Emil Hutyra, Jr. of Tours and Raymond G. Hutyra and Roy D. Hutyra, both of West; four daughters, Mrs. M.F. (Evelyn) Whitener of Washington, Mo., Mrs. Ben (Ida) Matus of West, and Mrs. John (Dorothy) Podsednik and Mrs. Marion (Mary) Wachel, both of Houston; two brothers, Joe Pavlica of Gonzales and Eddie Pavlica of Arlington; four sisters, Mrs. Norman (Marie) Hartman, Mrs. Rose Hartman, Mrs. Felix (Millie) Pavlas and Mrs. Vernon (Kathryn) Armstrong, all of Corpus Christi; 47 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jerome E. Hutyra, Benny R. Matus, James M. Wachel, Ronnie D. Whitener, Henry Hutyra, Jr., Felix Pavlas, Felix Matus and Joe Hutyra.
