WEST Otto Hanak, Sr., 93, of West died November 12, 1986, at a Waco hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on November 13 at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Nov. 14 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, Msgr. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in Wet. Mr. Hanak was born April 13, 1893, in Czechoslovakia and had lived in West since 1909. He was a retired farmer and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West. He was a member of the Czech Choir for several years and the KJT Society No. 31 in which he served as treasurer for several years. Survivors include his wife, Agnes of West; one son, Otto Hanak of West; two daughters, Mrs. Louis J. (Mary) Matus of Elm Mott and Mrs. L.A. (Estelle) Hykel of Abbott; two sisters, Hattie Matus of West and Mary Simcik of Waco; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Richard Hykel, Edward Hykel, Otto H.
