Frank John Barton, Young Farmer, Dies Frank John Barton, age 38, and a life-long resident of this section, died at his home near West at 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 5th. He was a native of Texas, being born near here on March 30, 1896. He was a prominent farmer of this section. Funeral services were held from the residence at 8:30 a.m. and at the Church of Assumption at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7th, with Rev. Ed. J. Polcak officiating. Interment was at the Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Louis J. Bezdek, E. E. Walla, Frank J. Hlavaty, Frank Cocek, Emil Jerabek, Jerry Gieser, Jos. F. Holasek and L.J. Bezdek. Survivors are his widow; three daughters, Wilma, Georgia and Rudy Barton; one son, Raymond Barton; two sisters, Mrs. Nick Cajkovsky of West and Mrs. Carrie Johnson of Los Angeles, California; four brothers, Adolph Barton, Will Barton, Emmett Barton and Joe Barton, all of the West community. A large host of friends of the deceased has extended their sincerest sympathy to the survivors in their great loss and time of sorrow.
