Mr. Victor Zabojnik, 78, of Ennis passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2009 at Ennis Regional Medical Center. Victor was born March 5, 1930 in Ennis, Texas to parents John P. Zabojnik and Aloisie (Pavlicek) Zabojnik. He was reared in Ennis. On May 3, 1952 he was married to Georgia Tupy. After their marriage, they moved to Dallas and lived there until the mid-1960's, when they relocated back to Ennis. Victor served in the United States Army. He was retired from Cody Industries as a Machinist. Victor was a member of St. John Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren: Paige, Pierce and Preston. Victor is survived by his wife, Georgia, of Ennis; one son, George Zabojnik; two daughters: Lisa, and her husband, Bill Sullivan and Barbara, and her husband, Rorie Harris; two brothers: John Zabojnik and Robert Zabojnik; four sisters: Louise Slovak, Margie Zabojnik, Frances Chudej and Della Kubacek; three grandchildren: Paige, Pierce and Preston. A celebration of Victor's life will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009 beginning with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. immediately followed by the service in the J. E. Keever Chapel in Ennis, with John L. Sullivan officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening, February 6, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Keever Chapel. Interment will be in the Crisp Cemetery under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
