Bio

George V. Zabojnik, 59, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019. Burial will be at Crisp Cemetery. George was born on June 25, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Victor and Georgie Tupy Zabojnik. In 1965, his family moved to Ennis, Texas, where he attended St. John Catholic School. In 1977 George graduated from Ennis High School. He was a machinist by trade and a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and the SPJST. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, cars, and motorcycles. Since 2005, George has spent his life in a nursing facility due to a serious motorcycle accident which left him with a severe brain injury. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Harris and her husband, Rorie, and Lisa Sullivan and her husband, William; niece, Paige Tignor; and nephews, Pierce Tignor and Preston Sullivan. U5
