Bio

Margaret Zabojnik, 73, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013, with Rosary at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. A Celebration of her life will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013, in the mortuary Chapel with Father John Dick officiating. Margaret was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late John P. and Alouise (Pavlicek) Zabojnik. She grew up in Telico and attended school in Telico and St. John Catholic Schools. Margaret worked as a home care giver for her parents. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, KJZT #16 and RVOS. Margaret enjoyed nature and working with the flowers in her garden. She loved and cared for many cats. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Emil Zabojnik, Joe Zabojnik, Victor Zabojnik, Milton Zabojnik, Edwin Zabojnik, and John Zabojnik; and sisters, Mary Schullenberg and Sophie Janicek. Survivors include brother, Robert Zabojnik and his wife, Mary, of Ennis; sisters, Louise Slovak, of Ennis, Francis Chudej and her husband, Joe, of Dallas, and Della Kubacek, of Ennis; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and many friends.
