Bio
John Adam was born in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, PA. When John Adam Kifer died, it is said that all 19 of his children attended the funeral and sat around one table that night for the evening meal. The Walter Weaver home on Strattonville Road, just off of Route 68, between Clarion and Reidsburg, was built by John Adam. Today, the farm is located in Monroe Township, and in good condition. Have photo of the house in my files. His name appears on the 1810 and 1820 Census' of Armstrong County (Clarion-Redbank Township) - Today the farm is located in Monroe Township (Clarion County). He received a Patent from the state dated October 16, 1837, that was for his land. He was known by the name, Adam.
