Funeral services for Robert Jupe, 4, of Tours, who died in a Waco hospital at 8:30 p.m. Sunday were held Monday at 5 p.m. at St. Martin's Catholic church in Tours, Rev. Frank Dobias officiating, burial in St. Martin's cemetery. Aderholds of West in charge. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Jupe, three sisters and five brothers, all of Tours. Waco News Triubune, July 23, 1940 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ * * * ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ "When he was 4 years old his appendix ruptured. It was in 1940. He had to be taken to the hospital in Waco and that took a long time.
