Irene Main Lasiter age 101, of Palestine, Texas died November 1, 2009 at her residence. Burial was in Fields Chapel Cemetery. She was born January 28, 1908 in Anderson County to the late, Hiram Oscar and Lucy Ann Congelton Main. Mrs. Lasiter was preceded in death by her husband, Lude Lasiter; sisters, Cora Mae Teel, Edith Lasiter, Lottie Lasiter, and Virgie Babb; brothers, Herman Main, Melvin Main, Olen Main, Leonard Main, Vernon Main, and Kenley Main. She is survived by her daughter, Mamye Jo Huddleston and husband Ira; and sisters, Susie Langston, Daisy Cook, and Eva Nell Funderburk. (Bailey & Foster Funeral Home)
