Bio
Funeral services for Mamye Jo Huddleston, 94 of Palestine, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 14, 2024 in the Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jamie Hogan officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home in Palestine. Those serving as pallbearers are Darwin Lamb, Bill Lasiter Jr., Bobby Al Huddleston, Alex Huddleston, Matt Giffrow and Jerry Langston. Mamye was born July 24, 1929 in Anderson County to Lude and Irene (Main) Lasiter. She passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Trucare Living Center in Palestine. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ira. She is survived by many loving family members and friends. She was affiliated with Neches Methodist Church. Mamye worked in the Agriculture Office a number of years, then went to the County Clerk's office and became County clerk and worked 16 years as the County Clerk. She worked a total of 48 years before retiring. She loved country music and working jigsaw puzzles. Obit From Bailey & Foster F. H. Palestine,TX.
