THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 13 Jul 1989. 'Tollie L. Brazeal, 86, of Paris died at 3:20 a.m. Saturday, 8 Jul 1989, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, 10 Jul, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James E. Barnes officiating. Burial was in McDonald Cemetery. Mrs. Brazeal was born on 26 Oct 1902, in Minter, a daughter of Bob and Ida Landrum Russell. She attended schools in Minter and in Arizona and taught school in Haw Thicket. She lived in the Atlas and Broadway communities until moving to Paris in 1968. She married Charlie L. Brazeal who preceded her in death in 1967. She was a member of the Seventh Street Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Billie McNeal of Greenville and Doris Watkins of Paris; two sons, Jerry Brazeal of Paris, and Jimmy Brazeal of Paris; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Bob Brazeal, in 1981.'
