Bio

Jerry Lee Brazeal, 75, of the Broadway Community, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9th, at McDonald Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Brazeal, the son of Charlie & Tollie Russell Brazeal, was born Nov. 18, 1937, in Lamar County. For forty years he was a heavy equipment operator, and he and his family owned and operated Brazeal & Sons. He enjoyed his pecan trees, having planted and tended the trees and then selling pecans. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jimmy Brazeal and Joe Bob Brazeal and two sisters, Doris Watkins and Billie Ruth McNeal.
