Bio

When Charles Robert Cantrell was born on 27 July 1879, in Hodgenville, LaRue, Kentucky, his father, Benjamin Tolbert Cantrell, was 23 and his mother, Margaret Poor, was 22. He married Cora Thomas in 1904. They were the parents of 2 daughters, Opal Josie Cantrell, born in 1905, and Dorothy born in 1916. He lived in Wichita, Kansas in 1930 and El Dorado, Kansas in 1940. Charley died on 12 February 1954, in Kansas, at the age of 74, and was buried in Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Kansas.
