FINAL RITES HELD FOR MRS. FRANK PETR Funeral services were held for Mrs. Frank Petr Saturday morning at 9:00 o'clock at Sacred Heart Church Lawrence, Nebr. The Rev James Dillon offered the Requiem High Mass and officiated at the committal services at Sacred Heart cemetery. Pall bearers were George Petr, Emil Petr, Thomas Petr, Henry Petr, Edward Sekora and Marvin Ruhga. Anna Petr, daughter of Joseph and Mary Beier was born in Clay County Nebraska on August 19, 1883. She departed this life at her home in Lawrence on Thursday July 15 at 3:00 a.m. at the age of 71 years. She was united in marriage to Frank Petr in St. Stephens on Nov. 19, 1902. They located on a farm five miles east of Lawrence until 1933 when they moved to their present home in Lawrence. The deceased is survived by her husband, one son Joe Petr of Nelson, three daughters, Mrs. Emma Kucera of Deweese, Mrs. Chistena Hajny of Fairfield and Mrs. Roy Landon of Hastings. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Mrs. William Mazour of Lawrence, Mrs. Ed Lipovsky, Johnny Hajny and Betty Hajny of Fairfield; also six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Joseph who passed away at the age of 1½ years. Mrs. Petr was devoted to her family who never lacked a loving mother's care and cocncil. She endured her years of failing health and illness calmly and with resignation to the Divine Will. Out of town relatives and friends present for the final rites were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Petr and Rita of Wauneta, Mrs. Fred Klima, and Joseph of Elsie, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Masek and family of Weston; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Drehr and Mr. and Mrs. John Peters of Hastings.
