Bio

James was the son of James B and Mary Wright Ray. He was the foster son of Will and Dora Foster Ray. His first wife was Hazel Marie Ray Mattoon newspaper 4/1971 James H.Ray died Tuesday in Jackson, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday in Schillings funeral home. Burial will be in Resthaven cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Friday at the funeral home. Mr.Ray was born February 10, 1893 in Lovington, Ill.,the son of Will and Dode? Foster Ray. Survivors include his widow,Kate of Jackson,one son James H. Jr. of Pekin, one daughter Mrs. David (Zandra) Burk of Dallas. Texas, one sister Mrs. Hattie Roberts of Decatur and six grandchildren. There is no stone for James H Ray.
