HERALD REVIEW PAPER JULY 8 1949 SERVICES HERE SATURDAY FOR ENOCH RAY Enoch Ray died at 5:30 am Thursday in St. Marys hospital in Decatur. He had been ill for many months. He leaves one daughter, Mrs.Fleta Croyle,a brother William Ray,three half brothers, Earl Ray, Braden Ray and James Ray of Mattoon, two half sisters Mrs. Hattie Roberts of Decatur and Mrs.Estella Scheeks of Mansfield,Ohio. Funeral services were held at 1:00 am oclock Saturday morning at the McMullin funeral home with Rev.Delmar M.Talley in charge. Interment was in Greenhill cemetery. There is no stone for Enoch andhis wife Myrtle.He is not too far from his father James B.Ray.
