Bio

Mary Bacica Immigrated to the United States from Czechoslovakia. She settled in a German community of Nelsonville, Austin County, Texas. She met and married Hermann Baethe and they had nine children. There was Mary Annie, Hermann Jr.,Edward C., Adolph Fritz,Louis F.J., Frank Theodore,William, Alvin J.,and Otillie. Mary was a very good cook and mother to her children. She was proud of them and often spoke of them to anyone who would listen. Mary lived to be 91 years and 1 month old.
