Bio

Hermann came from Germany and settled in Austin County in that German settlement Nelsonville. There he met and married Mary Bacica. They later moved to Waller County to farm and raise a family. They had nine children. There were Mary Annie, Hermann Jr., Edward C., Adolph Fritz, Louis F.J., Frank Theodore, William, Alvin J.,and Otillie. Hermann was a farmer most of his life. He loved his family and took good care of them. Hermann and Mary were charter members of Saint Johns Lutheran Church in Waller, Texas.
