Mrs. Mary Uptmore Claimed by Death Sunday Morning Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Uptmore, 79, wife of the deceased Frank Uptmore, passed away at her home near Leroy at 5:50 o’clock Sunday morning, July 2. Funeral services were held at the St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Tours at 9:00 o’clock Monday morning with the Rev. J. T. Geiser officiating. Interment was at the St. Martin’s Cemetery near Tours. Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Mary Willenborg of Mexia, Mrs. Maggie Schroeder of West, and Mrs. Elizabeth Grellhesl of Axtell; and six sons, John, Frank, Louis and Ben Uptmore of near West and Tom and Jim Uptmore of Waco. Pallbearers were Felix Mynar, Henry Macha, Joe Lucien, Jodie Schroeder, Clements Uptmor and John Rejcek. Mrs. Uptmore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Jupe, was born in Illinois on October 7, 1894.
