Bio
Antonia Marie Kasha, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Shindler, was born July 19, 1886 at Agenda, Kan., and passed away December 16, 1961 in Herington, Kan., at the age of 75 years. In 1907 she was united in marriage to Joseph E. Kasha and to this union seven children were born. The couple resided in Republic County until 1913 when they moved to Marion County. Mrs. Kasha was preceded in death by a daughter, Olga, her parents and three sisters. Her only brother, Thomas, followed her in death by 21 hours. Survivors are her husband, six children: Otis J. of Agenda, Joseph A. of Herington, Mrs. Keith Ashten of Belleville, Vlatimer J. of Carthage, Mo., Mrs. Sylvester Maier of Chickasaw, Okla., and Mrs. Everett Cannon of Greeley, Kan., eleven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Rosary was lead by the Rev. Eugene Seneal of St. John's Catholic Church Herington, at the Donahue Funeral Home on December 18. The Requiem High Mass was sung by the Rt. Rev. Monsignor Arthur Tonne at St. John's Catholic Church in Pilsen, Kan., on December 15. Interment was made in St. John's Catholic cemetery, Pilsen.
