------------------------- (KS) Cuba Tribune Oct. 8, 1936 Marie Raymon was born in Sýkořice, County Křivoklát, Bohemia, Austria, Europe, on September 25, 1856. She came to America in the year of 1877 locating in Striker, Ohio. In the year of 1878 she was united in marriage to Anton Shindler. In the year of 1881 they came to Kansas, locating on a farm in Elk Creek township, near the town of Agenda, where she resided until about eight years ago, at that time moving to Agenda To this union five children were born, four daughters and one son, all of them grew to man and womanhood and they also raised one nephew from the time he was eight months old until he grew to manhood. She departed this life at the home of her daughter in Agenda, on September 29, 1936, at the age of 78 years and 4 days. She leaves to mourn her departure three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Chizek of Cuba, Mrs. Frances Heina of Agenda, and Antonia Kasha of Lost Springs and one son, Thomas of Agenda. Her husband and daughter preceded her in death. She also leaves 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. ------------------------- Obituary provided by jln #48112406
