License issued October 4th. ====================== The Lawrence Locomotive (Lawrence, NE), Saturday, November 3, 1906; pg. 8 Married. Frank Kimminau and Miss Emma Musenbrock were married at St. Stephens, Oct. 23. They are both popular and well known residents of that precinct. ======================= The Lawrence Locomotive (Lawrence, NE), Thursday, January 18, 1951; pg. 1 OBITUARY Frank Kimminau Funeral services were held St. Stephens Thursday at 9:30 a.m. January 11, for Frank Kimminau. The Rev. B.J. Haskamp offered the High Mass of Requiem and officiated at the interment services in St. Stephens cemetery, where he was laid to rest beside his wife. Pall bearers were all nephews of the deceased, Frank Jr, Al, John and Edward Kimminau, Richard Musenbrock and Pat Mertens. Frank John Kimminau, son of Bernard and Mary Kimminau was born in Festina, Iowa, December 18, 1873 and passed away at St. Josephs Hospital in Denver, Colo. January 7, 1951 at the age of 77 years and 19 days. He had been in poor health for several years but became seriously ill about a month before his death and was taken to the hospital in Denver where he received medical treatment. At the age of twelve, Mr. Kimminau with his parents and family came to Nebraska in 1885 and lived with them on a farm in the Lawrence vicinity. On October 23rd, 1906 he was united in marriage to Emma Musenbrock, to this union 5 children were born. The young couple located on a farm near St. Stephens where he lived the rest of his life. He was a member of St. Stephens Catholic church, to which he remained faithfull until death. All ships and suffering he was always patient. To his children a king and loving father and his passing means a great loss not only to his family but the entire community. He was preceded in death by his wife, who passed away 5 yrs ago, his parents, three brother one sister. He lives to mourn his passing his children, Hubert of Lawrence, Mrs Clara White of Denver, Colo., Theo. H. of Superior, Mary and Mrs Margaret Brockman of Lawrence. He also leaves 3 grandchildren, one sister Miss Elizabeth Kimminau and 3 brothers Henry, Herman and Joe all of Lawrence, also a large number of relatives and friends. Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Mr and Mrs Les White and Joey of Denver, Colo.; Mr and Mrs Theo H. Kimminau of Superior; Henry Kimminau and Mrs Elizabeth Dietrich of Attica, Kans.; Herman Kimminau of Spivey, Kans.; Wm Kimminau and Mrs Wm. Molitor and son of Willowdale, Kans.; John Kimminau of Kingman, Kans.; Richard Musenbrock of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs Joe Faimon of Iowa City, Iowa; Mrs Rose Fisher of Hiawatha, Kans.; Mr and Mrs Joe Weingardt and Herman Steffens of Red Cloud; Joe Kimminau of Superior; Mr and Mrs Ben Kimminau and daughters of Hastings; Miss Betty Ann Musenbrock of Lincoln.
