Bio
Mrs. Angie Penton, widow of the late M. J. Penton, died in Pensacola hospital early Monday after a short illness. A native of Beulah, she has resided in Escambia county all her life. Mrs. Penton, 72, had been residing at North U street. She is survived by five sons, Mose, former sheriff, Jack, Edward, Ernest and Charles; three daughters, Mrs. W. H. White, Mrs. T. W. Shelby and Mrs. Edna Henderson; two brothers, Daniel and Elijah Malone; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Burial will be in the Beulah cemetery.
