Wife of Joel Malone. Charlotte made a dress for her marriage to Joel and left this dress to Barbara with the stipulation that it be handed down to the oldest girl in each generation. This dress passed from Charlotte McCurdy Malone to her daughter, Barbara Malone Fisher, to Charlotte Fisher Godwin, to Lottie Jeanette Godwin Ward, to Aleta Ward McElwaine. The last receipient had no girls and donated it to a museum. Find A Grave contributor pamela deen suggested the following...she had another daughter Barber Josephine born Nov. 16, 1858. Died Aug. 29, 1937. Barbara married Jesse James Fisher. Jesse was born Dec. 25, 1844 and died on July 20, 1927. He was from Montreal, Canada. They are buried in Beulah, Fl. They had a child named Charlotte Lottie born on May 1883 and Died on Sept 1969. She married William Henry Godwin. He was born Jan. 8, 1868 and died Feb. 10 1945. One child was Robert Henry and anther was Lottie Jeannette. They are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery. Robert Henry Godwin who married Elsie Byrd. There children were Robert Donald, Norman, Carl, Emma, Bobbie and Lorraine. Find a Grave contributor, Molly McLaughlin submitted... Someone made a note that Memorial 36275205..for Charlotte "Millie" McCurdy Malone possibly had another daughter Barbara Josephine Malone besides the daughter on FAG 36275205, for Charlotte FAG # Census -shows two daughters 1860-70 very close in age and one is Barshaby, 6 and another Barbarey. Barshaby is likely Barsheba, like in the bible. Close but not same persons as they have different ages.
