Jack D. Penton, 44, of W. Lloyd St. died unexpectedly Sunday morning at his home. Mr. Penton was a lifelong resident of Pensacola and a retired line foreman for the Southern Bell Telephone Co. He we a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America club and a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are his wldow, Mrs. Nora Wright Penton of Pensacola; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Brooks of Pensacola, Mrs. Lonnel Demos of Toledo, Ohio and Mrs. Florence Smith of Moss Point, Miss.; three sisters. Mrs. Annie B. White, Mrs. Lottie Shelby and Mrs. Edna Harvey, all of Pensacola; four brothers, Mose S., Eddie, Ernest and Charlie Penton, all of Pensacola and 16 grandchildren.
