Bio

Mrs. Edna Penton Harvey, 71. of 72nd St., died Friday afternoon in a local hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola, a former teacher in Escambia County, a retired employee of the J. C Penny Co. and a member of the Richards Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by her widower, Benjamin W. Harvey of Pensacola; three sons. A. Clarence Blanton, Sr., Adrian E. Blanton and Robert N. Harvey, all of Pensacola; one sister, Mrs. Annie White of Pensacola; two brothers, Mose S. Penton, former sheriff of Escambia County and Charles A. Penton, both of Pensacola, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Harvey was a member of the Joy Bible Class. Burial will be in the Beulah Cemetery.
