Bio
Anna Dreiling, 91, died Tuesday, Sept. 20 at St. John's Rest Home, Victoria. She was born Jan. 28, 1892 at Munjor, the daughter of Jermore and Rosalia (Schumacher) Herl. She married Aloysius Dreiling on Nov. 23, 1909 at Victoria. He died Jan. 9, 1944. Survivors include three sons, Clarence, Denver, John, Fort Worth, Texas, and Bill, Strout, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Cora Gaschler, Hays, and Mrs. Armella Edwards, Great Bend; two brothers, Frank Herl, Dodge City, and Paul Herl, Quinter; a sister, Julia Herl, Hays; 25 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and a great-great- grandchild. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church; burial was in the church cemetery. Ellis County Star, 9/29/1983
