Bio
Charles Daniel Hottovy was born January 5, 1922 on a farm near Dwight, Nebraska to Charles Leopold and Rose (Moravec) Hottovy and died in Lincoln, Nebraska February 2, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Chuck attended country school near Dwight. He married Lorraine Marie Walla February 9, 1948 at Touhy, Nebraska. They had four children, Duane, Bonnie, Joyce and Charles, Jr. The couple lived most of their married life on their farm near Dwight. Chuck was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight and a member of Catholic Workman Branch No. 32 Dwight and a charter member of Dwight American Legion Post No. 110. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rose Hottovy; his brothers, Adolph, Reynold and Richard Hottovy and his sisters, Lucille Eiting and Agnes Fiala. Contributor: mm (50950498)
