Emil L. Hottovy, of Dwight, NE., died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at David Place in David City, NE. Emil was born on December 4, 1923 to Charles L. and Rose (Moravec) Hottovy near Dwight, NE. Emilgraduated high school from Dwight (NE.) Assumption Catholic School. Emil spent most of his life farming and raising cattle. Emil was a member of Dwight (NE.) Volunteer Fire Department and of Catholic Workmen. He really enjoyed playing cards. Emil is survived by: brother: Ray Hottovy of Morris, MN.; Sisters: Rose Klein of David City, NE.; Sister-in-law: Rose Hottovy of David City, NE.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Emil is preceded in death by his parents; siblings and spouses, Adolf (Emma) Hottovy, Lucille (Francis) Eiting, Aggie (Ray) Fiala, Charles D.(Lorraine) Hottovy, Marcie Hottovy, Reynold (Dorothy) Hottovy, Richard Hottovy, Leonard Klein and four nieces and nephews. Interment was in the Dwight Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Dwight, NE.
