C.J. Johnson July 5, 1932 - November 20, 2024 C. J. Johnson was born July 5, 1932, and gained his heavenly wings November 20, 2024, at the age of 92. He is survived by his children, Teresa Stewart and husband, Larry, Cathy Gross and husband, Lenny, and Anita Marie Doyle; grandchildren, Charlie Johnson, Carlton "BB" Johnson, Jr., Mark Aaron Johnson, Clayton Johnson, David Johnson, Danny Lynn Johnson, Brittany Gonzalez, Bobby Stewart, April Serrano, Summer Daughtery, Robert Paul Daughtery, Christopher Chandler, Ty Chandler, Whitney Walker, Cassidy Doyle; along with numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and his sister, Clydene Adams. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Hyatt Johnson; children, Carlton Wayne Johnson, Sr., Mary Denise Daughtery and Lisa Lee Chandler; parents, Charles and Ozella Johnson; and siblings, Donald Johnson, Audrey Mae, Charlene, Shelia Ray Barrow, and Dan Johnson. Pallbearers will be Charlie Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Dolton Kovac, Larry Stewart, Herschel Walker, Danny Johnson, and Jonathon Johnson. Family will receive friends 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2024 with the funeral service being held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Calvary Apostolic Church, Starks, Louisiana. Pastor Jeremy Shields will be officiating. Interment to follow at Hyatt Cemetery, Fields, Louisiana.
