Sheila Ray Barrow, age 64, a native and resident of Starks, died Thursday, February 28, 2008, at her residence in Starks. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Starks. She was the Post Master for Fields and along with her husband Jerry, they ran the Fields Grocery Store. Sheila will forever be remembered as a kind and loving lady that loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved to read and cook. Her family will forever treasure the memory of her chicken and dumplings, steak and gravy and cornbread dressing. Above all that she loved in this life, nothing compared to the love she had for her family. Sheila took very serious the role of wife and mother. She did her best to teach her family valuable lessons in life. She was a peacemaker and always offered her family unconditional love. Sheila was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her and each life that she touched in her own special way.She was the daughter of the late Charles Johnson and the late Ozella Hock Johnson.She is also survived by her loving husband of over 45 years - Jerry Barrow of Starks; one daughter, Sonya Barks and her husband Randy of Starks; two sons, Bryan Barrow and his wife Jennifer of Starks, and J.J. Barrow of Tucson, Ariz.; three Sisters, Charlene Cox of Orange, Tex., Audrey Lowrie of Freeport, Tex., Clydene Adams and her husband Ronald of Orange Park, Fla.; two Brothers, C.J. Johnson and his wife Marie of Starks, and Dan Charles Johnson and his wife "Dot" of Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren, Alex Barks, Axel Barks and Austin Barrow.She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers - Farley Johnson and Donald Johnson.Funeral service were held at the 1st Baptist Church, Saturday, March 1, 2008 at with the Rev. Robert Davis officiating. Interment was in Barrow Cemetery in Starks.
