Mildred Joy (Chrismer) Harris was born on January 17, 1935 to Harold Kenneth and Helen Marie (Tyson) Chrismer in Yuma, Colorado. She passed away on October 18, 2023 at the Harmony Home in Yuma, Colorado at the age of 88. Mildred grew up in Yuma, Colorado and attended the Yuma Schools and graduated with the class of 1953. Following High School she married William Dean Harris on April 24, 1954 in Castle Rock, Colorado. The marriage ended in September of 1982. Mildred worked in the Yuma Nursing Home upon its opening in 1964 for thirty years, she held many different positions during her time there. Mildred loved to play Bingo at the Nursing Home and Harmony Home. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen Chrismer; siblings, Dorothy Chrismer, Harold "Hal", Marjorie, Kenneth "Bob", Herbert, Milton (twin to Millie) and grandson, Billy Pine. Mildred is survived by her children, Debra Pine (Kenny Custer) of Yuma, Colorado; Wayne (Barb) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Sheila Bullard of Enid, Oklahoma; grandson, Ryan Bullard and family of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; great granddaughter, Sydney Pine of Yuma, Colorado.
