Bio
Bob was born on January 22, 1930 to Harold and Helen Tyson Chrismer. He passed away on April 30, 2016 at Yuma Life Care. Bob earned his pilot's license after returning from the Marine Corps where he served in Korea. After the service, he joined his father in farming and they had one of the first irrigated crops in Yuma County. He married the love of his life, Jean Perlenfein, on April 4, 1955. At an early age, Bob developed an interest in wood carving, which he enjoyed well into his 80's. He has won numerous awards at the Yuma Art Show and County Fair. Bob has been Commander of the American Legion and V.F.W. of which he was a lifetime member of both. He was preceded in death by parents, Harold and Helen; wife, Jean; brothers, Herbert, Harold and Milton and sister, Dorothy. He is survived by son, of Yuma; daughter, of Mt. View, WY; sisters, of Yuma and Cheyenne, WY; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. According to his wishes, cremation was performed and a family interment will be held at a later date.
