Bio

Leslie Eugene Lyman Jr. was adopted in 1920 out of Yuma, Colorado and/or San Diego, California. The birth parents were young and unmarried, both from Yuma, Colorado. The names of his adoptive parents are Leslie Eugene Lyman Sr. & Susan Mae McGinnis, who are resting near him in the same section of the mauseleum. Leslie Eugene Lyman Jr. was raised as an only child. Both of his biological parents went on to marry other partners and have their own families. It turns out that he had two maternal half sisters (one of which ended up in San Diego!) and seven paternal half siblings. Thanks to DNA testing, we now know about this incredible revelation.
