Obituary for Allen R. Ard Allen R. Ard was a former resident of Loxley and Silverhill and a current resident of Elberta, AL. He passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the age of 73. Allen served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed sitting on the porches at the farm, the cattle business, fish fries with friends and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, Joan Ard; step son, Ted Childress (Ashley) and their children, Reaves and Evie; brother, Robert Ard; sisters, Gloria Swoboda, GayNell Palmisano and other family members.
