SAMUEL,SON OF CHARLES HENRY AND MINNIE MAE GEORGE BURNS was born im Marlow,Oklahoma June 29,1893 and died in Dinuba,California,on March 15,1970 SAMUEL married ZORA BELLE SINGLETON in 1914 at Lawton,Ok. She was the daughter of James and Zora Price Singleton. She was born in Anniston,Alabama on November 11,1894,died ay Cheyenne,Oklahoma May 9,1925 Zora and Charles had 3 children.Charles L. Burns, Sammie Lee Burns and Minnie Grace (Burns) Daugherty. Samuel came to Roger Mills County from Stevens County,Oklahoma. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a hospitible person who enjoyed others. Zora loved music and played the piano for her enjoyment and social gatherings. SAM had 5 brother's LEONARD WILLIAM,JOHN WESLEY, CHARLES BEELER,CLIFFORD, ERMAL EARL AND 3 SISTER'S MARY VERA ,MABLE CLARA AND CALLIE.
