Mrs. Zephie Burch, 55, of 703 Ruth St. died at 9 a.m. Tuesday in a Houston hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Burch was born Aug 21, 1921, in Henderson County and had lived most of her life in the Athens area. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clud Richardson and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Herbert Burch of Athens; her step-mother, Mrs. Artie Mae Richardson of Athens; two son; Tommy and Todd Burch both of Athens; three daughters, Mrs. Sherry Wilson, Mrs. Pan McEvoy and Miss Kim Burch all of Athens; six brothers, Clarence of Houston, Jimmy Glen, Billy, Ronnie, Larry and Truett Richardson all of Athens; six sisters, Mrs. Fayrene Miller, Mrs. Betty Neely, Mrs. Ronnie Smith, Mrs. Frances McGee, Miss Deanne Richardson and Mrs. Suella Clark all of Athens and five grandchildren.
