Bio

Funeral services for Ella Frances Johnson, 82, a longtime resident of Blessing, were scheduled for 10 a. m. today at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Eddie Schoelman officiating. Burial was to follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery under the direction of Triska Funeral home, El Campo. A rosary was recited 9:30 a. m. today at the church. She was born Feb. 21, 1909, to Frank and Frances Brdecka Hlozek in Cistern and died June 30, 1991, at Matagorda General Hospital after a sudden illness. She was a homemaker, member of the KJZT and the SPJST. She is survived by a sister, Marie Morris of Blessing; three stepdaughters, Kay Longpre of Houston, Deadre Budewig of Houston and Janice Walker of Plymouth, Mich.; and two stepsons, David H.
